If an item is currently unavailable, you can request the item from another Omni library. To request material: 

Select “Get it from another library” 

If you are picking up from another Omni library, you must change “Preferred Pickup Institution” to the correct university and library location. 

Once you select the required university, a new drop down menu will appear where you can select a corresponding library location. 

Please make note that “Preferred Local Pickup Location” will still require a selection of a LU library, just in case there are issues sending your item to another University for pickup. This is unlikely, but we will contact you if there are any issues with your request.

Select “send request”

If you are picking up from an LU library, you will leave “Preferred Pickup Institution” as “Lakehead University.” 

Next you will select which LU library you want under “Preferred Local Pickup Location."

Select “send request”
