Q. How do I return a book in Orillia?

At the Orillia Education Library, at 1 Colborne Street West, you may return a book or other item to the library from Monday to Friday, between 8:30am to 4:30pm. However, please check our hours as posted on the Lakehead library website. The Orillia Education library may sometimes be closed, especially in summer time.

At the Harvie Legacy Library, on University Avenue (inside the Orsi Family Learning Commons), there is a drop-box within our library desk. Since the main building is open 24/7, you can access the library drop box at any time, throughout the entire week. If you need to return the item directly to a staff person (which is the case with some Media Studies Equipment) - staff members are present at the Harvie Legacy Library from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

You can definitely return any materials, from any Lakehead library, to EITHER the Orillia Education library or to the Harvie Legacy Library - you do not have to return at item to the same library that you borrowed it from.
